Hello my name is Carlisa Ross and I took my Yukon Xl in to sierra Chevrolet Jackson Tn to be serviced they had my car for a month and I paid close to 1700 to get my car back for my car to still be doing the same thing I brought it in for. In turns when I picked it up I still had to turn around and take it back and I was told the ppl for the engine dont know nothing about transmissions so the guy drove my car and said it feels like the transmission my whole thing is did they not drive it and see.

I really feel like something should be done cause this is not right at all.

Im starting to think its because Im a woman and dont really know much but its not adding up to me especially then saying they drove it and my car doesnt even want to get past 30 without the RPM going all the way up. Something has to be done.

Not getting my truck fixed is the problem. I've taken my truck to several dealerships and keep having the same issues, the same problem over and over.

It's been over a year now trying to solve this problem. I need answers, please.

I am reaching out to express my significant dissatisfaction with a recent vehicle purchase from LaFontaine, one of your dealerships in Michigan. I believe that GMC should be aware of how this dealership is representing your brand and the detrimental impact it is having on customer trust.

I recently purchased what I believed was a Yukon XL from LaFontaine.

The sales representative assured me that I was getting the vehicle I wanted, and I relied on their professionalism and the images they provided. However, upon receiving the car, I discovered it was not the model promised. It was apparent that the salesperson had selectively chosen photos, strategically concealing details that would have immediately revealed this discrepancy. I purchased this vehicle sight unseen in good faith, trusting in the GMC name and in LaFontaines commitment to honest business practices.

To make matters worse, the shipping of the vehicle was delayed, adding unnecessary frustration.

When I contacted the dealership to address their misrepresentation and requested an exchange for the correct model, they declined, citing it would be a paperwork nightmare to rectify the situation. Instead of taking accountability, they essentially washed their hands of the issue, leaving me with a vehicle I never intended to purchase.

As a loyal GMC customer, I am disappointed to see one of your dealerships operate in this manner. I urge GMC to review LaFontaines practices and consider the experience of customers who trust in the GMC brand.

Such business practices damage the reputation of GMC as a whole and discourage future purchases.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I hope to see changes that will prevent future customers from facing similar issues.

I've taken my GMC to two different dealerships and they still haven't solved the problems. When I hook up my trailer, I keep getting a 'check trailer wiring' message.

GMC customer service is abysmal

They forgot to change my oil (I found out halfway into my trip out of state for Thanksgiving. So family missed Thanksgiving) three times I asked the to fix where my rv plugs in.

Last time they had to order the part.

I've now missed 5 days of work between that not fixed and them not doing my oil change. Would never buy again.

Hi Gmc my name is Jacqueline Zarraga I am writing to you today to complain about the truck I purchased at Walker Jones in Waycross Ga. I purchased a 2020 GMC Sierra and on May 7 it caught on fire .

I dont know what to do but I think some one has to be held accountable because some one could have gotten hurt.

I am having anxiety just thinking my children could have been in the vehicle I am really thinking about getting an attorney I think the least I deserve is a Truck that is inspected as it should. I am sad i have worked so hard for my truck for it just to go up in flames I have cried my self to sleep because of what happened.

Recall and reimbursement

I purchased a GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax in the summer of 2015 new off the lot from Ebersole GMC in Lebanon Pennsylvania

Mostly I am happy with the decision however I have had a few issues with it along the way

One of the issues was regarding fuel delivery and I had to have my mechanic replace the Bosch CP4 fuel pump

Apparently there was a recall and GMC allocated funds to reimburse owners who paid to address the issue

I would like to submit my invoice from that replacement from my mechanic and see if I qualify for compensation

2008 GMC 3500 dually

I was driving and the truck just shut off, almost wrecked. My mechanic said the PCM fried, GMC discontinued making replacement parts.

Now I have a 30,000 dollar piece of metal. WTF!!!

This is the 3rd time this vehicle I bought last November from the GM dealer in Bahrain has drained its battery and wont start (we resort to contacting the tow truck road assist to get it started). The mileage on it is only 20,000 and its only been serviced by the dealer.

The issue is very upsetting and whats really annoying is it takes time to get it fixed.

I have never experienced this ever in my life. The dealer doesnt seem to know what to do about this problem which definitely involves a parasite but cant be found.

GMC 2500 Denali

I purchased a new GMC 2500HD Denali in 2022, expecting a top-of-the-line vehicle given its premium price tag and reputation. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment.

First and foremost, the reliability of this truck has been abysmal.

Shortly after purchase, I experienced multiple breakdowns, leaving me stranded on the side of the road. The frustration of owning a brand-new vehicle that cannot be relied upon is indescribable.

The first major issue was a transmission leak that took well over a month to repair. However, the repair was not done correctly, and they failed to refill the transmission fluid. Once again, I had to turn to a local shop to fix what should have been a straightforward repair.

This is simply unacceptable for any vehicle, let alone one marketed as a robust and reliable truck.

One of the most alarming issues has been the tailgate. It opens by itself while driving, which is not only incredibly unsafe but also makes it impossible to tow anything securely. Imagine driving down the road and suddenly seeing the tailgate open, potentially losing cargo or creating a dangerous situation for other drivers.

When I took the vehicle in for a recall to fix this issue, the service department disabled the tailgate entirely and said they would contact me when the part was available. Months later, despite numerous attempts to follow up, I have yet to hear back from them.

This lack of communication and inability to resolve such a critical issue is incredibly frustrating.

Additionally, the truck has numerous electronic gremlins and the drivers door leaks, adding to the litany of problems. The vehicle has been in the shop multiple times for these and other repairs, each time with long wait times and no clear resolution. I've had to resort to using an independent shop to fix issues that should have been handled by the dealership.

Overall, the GMC 2500HD Denali has been a huge disappointment.

The reliability, safety issues, and poor service have left me regretting my purchase. I expected much more from a premium vehicle and would advise others to think twice before investing in this truck.

No support from GMC

Took ownership of a 2024 Canyon in mid-March. Engine light/brake issue occurred in early June.

Dropped the car off for service on 6/12/24. GMC cannot get the required part - the master cylinder. It's been five weeks - I have only had the truck for 12 weeks. This should be a priority - get the NEW truck repaired!

Customer service is a joke - they can't do anything. The dealership service team is marginally helpful, although the service manager hasn't called as I requested. No one in an admin or corporate position is involved.

No answers! No help!

Do Not Recommend - GMC Indianapolis Service & Sales

GMC has had our car in the service department for 1 month. The GM has not been friendly to deal with at all.

His name is Will Whitley. Our WIFI in our vehicle went out and was under warranty thankfully. It took them 1 month to fix, several days to receive a loaner vehicle, we had to source our own rental vehicle. Once the car was complete they let us know morning of and told us if we did not come pick up the car they would have the rental company charge us for the vehicle.

We had to pick up immediately at the drop of the hat, even though they took 1 month to fix our car. Return calls are difficult. No one beyond the GM has much power or ability to act. The GM does not care at all about customers or customer service.

He treated us very poorly. Based on the service and customer support I would not recommend this vehicle - it's not worth paying 100K for a car and not getting premier service. This company does not care about you and will not flex or work with you at all.

It's on their time, not yours. Just be prepared for that.

Dear Director of GMC USA,

I am writing to file a complaint regarding the repair of my 2016 GMC Terrain, registration number 10256 W, in white color. I brought my vehicle to the GMC service center in Muscat, Oman on 3rd May 2024 for issues with the ABS and handbrake warning lights.

The service center provided a quotation and I approved the necessary repairs.

However, it has been over 27 days and my vehicle has still not been repaired. The service center keeps providing new estimated completion dates and service fees but has not yet fixed the issues.

This prolonged delay in repairing my vehicle is unacceptable. I rely on my Terrain for my daily transportation needs, and the extended time has caused significant personal inconvenience.

I would appreciate your urgent attention to this matter.

Please intervene to ensure my vehicle is repaired in a timely manner according to the initial quotation and repair plan. I look forward to hearing from you soon regarding a resolution.

GMC - Worst vehicle ever!

I purchased a 2017 GMC Yukon 9 months ago. At 125k miles the transmission, ABS and tracking system module and shocks have been replaced.

I did buy a warranty and still have spent close to $5,000 in repairs on a vehicle that isnt worth its value. This is the worst vehicle ever and I will never purchase another GMC product!

Resolved: Looking for my hood replacement

My concern was taken seriously. So far, there has been one follow-up, but not much progress has been made.

My car has been in the shop since Jan. 15th. We were told 4 weeks ago that my hood was shipped. The body shop, the insurance agent, and GMC cannot get an update on where my hood is.

I'm paying for a rental car out of pocket. This is getting horribly expensive.

I was completely ignored.

They knew I was giving them an extremely scathing and accurate review of their garbage vehicle.

They had the option to do the right thing. IE reimburse my twelve thousand dollars. But instead would rather ignore valid criticism of the garbage vehicle they put to market. And repay the money they effectively stole from me.
