Sold me a broken truck in Daphne alabama

Terry Thomason dealership in Daphne Alabama sold me a broken truck knowing it was broken and didnt tell me I spent 58k and this has been a nightmare truly when I texted the sales lady she told me she knew and just thought it was a glitch Ive been dealing with this for a month and two weeks trying to resolve the issue also they took my money and it took me three weeks and traveling to Fl three time to get a tag for my car on the last attempt I had to dish out 999 for a tag I already paid for if thats not bad enough when I told them they said I would have to find the money not there problem then they also gave me someone elses paperwork with thier information on it. The generally manger Ive been dealing with is related to the owner and has refused to let me talk to him Ive called attorney general and ect nothing was done so finally I wrote Gm and had to fight to get them to to listen and I ended up taking it to another dealership they tryed to fix it but sadly its back in shop this is only half of what Ive had to deal with so I decided to protest and the owner has called the police 4 time to have me removed and he wont fix the issue !!! Im so upset Im a single mom and this is a brand new truck Silverado!!!please I need help this is truly awful..

My vehicle has a recall that indicates possibilities, yet when you call for a fix, they say there is no fix. Is the app right or the verbal indication?

Also, if the end result is to replace the oil with a heavier version, the problem isn't resolved.

If it is to fix it, it means it's lost value I didn't buy versus replacing the engine. Lastly, how does all of this affect the extended warranty you sold me?

Went to Parks GMC in Greenville SC and any bad reviews could not have not come about Parks GMC. Could not have been treated nicer.

They offered to shuttle me which I declined (28 miles). They updated me constantly. All I can say is they treated me like gold. I will always go to Parks GMC in Greenville, SC!

Couldn't get better service than Parks GMC! Have any issue with your car go to Parks.

Even up front in sales no one jumped me. They were extremely respectful.

Terrible Car and customer service

My 1 yr old GMC Terrain with only 6000 miles on it and bumper to bumper coverage broke down in the middle of the street leaving me stranded after a tow. The dealership told me they will get to it whenever they can and I had to wait to determine if it's their fault and not rodents (don't know where they got that impression) before they would decide to give me a loner. No one can help with my tahoe

I have a 2017 Chevy Tahoe with 83,000 miles. I bought this 1 year ago; now it has transmission problems, air conditioner problems, misfiring on cylinder eight, and a whole bunch of other things.

GM or your Chevy dealer just reiterates that there is no more warranty. They don’t try to help you. They told me it was the battery; now it’s the computer. There is so much wrong with this car.

I don't recommend anybody buying a Chevy Tahoe of any year, make, or model. I know I'm not the only one with this problem. I am going to see if we can start a class action suit because this is ridiculous. They told me maybe I didn't do maintenance.

I have every maintenance paper from the garage saying I keep this in pristine condition. You pay all this money for these vehicles and may end up with more problems than it's worth.

Resolved: The fuel savings system on my 2019 GMC Denali

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I took my 2019 GMC Sierra Denali two way reputable shop and I had new push rods new lifters new cam put in my motor and took all that bad stuff out. I had the system deleted.

I'm paying $6500 to remove that faulty system with the lifter pushrods and cam. I would like to be reimbursed for it.

That system was very poor, and to me, it has crippled the GMC truck and many other vehicles that have that strange system in them. To me, you all have dropped the ball.

I am reaching out to express my significant dissatisfaction with a recent vehicle purchase from LaFontaine, one of your dealerships in Michigan. I believe that GMC should be aware of how this dealership is representing your brand and the detrimental impact it is having on customer trust.

I recently purchased what I believed was a Yukon XL from LaFontaine.

The sales representative assured me that I was getting the vehicle I wanted, and I relied on their professionalism and the images they provided. However, upon receiving the car, I discovered it was not the model promised. It was apparent that the salesperson had selectively chosen photos, strategically concealing details that would have immediately revealed this discrepancy. I purchased this vehicle sight unseen in good faith, trusting in the GMC name and in LaFontaines commitment to honest business practices.

To make matters worse, the shipping of the vehicle was delayed, adding unnecessary frustration.

When I contacted the dealership to address their misrepresentation and requested an exchange for the correct model, they declined, citing it would be a paperwork nightmare to rectify the situation. Instead of taking accountability, they essentially washed their hands of the issue, leaving me with a vehicle I never intended to purchase.

As a loyal GMC customer, I am disappointed to see one of your dealerships operate in this manner. I urge GMC to review LaFontaines practices and consider the experience of customers who trust in the GMC brand.

Such business practices damage the reputation of GMC as a whole and discourage future purchases.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I hope to see changes that will prevent future customers from facing similar issues.

GMC service and quality of my my 3500 Denali ultimate

I bought 2024 leftover 3500 Denali ultimate Dealership never prepared the truck for delivery running board light on driver side out still waiting for part to come in been a month so far engine light came on told it was because it was cold outside came off in a few days number2 electrical outlet on right side of the bed leaking when roads are wet I do have a dealer installed hard cover to keep things dry but I was told that it was normal for water to come in around that receptacle number 3 dealer installed hard tonneau cover installed wrong it was about a 1/2 inch away from the top of the tailgate went grocery shopping put groceries in the back went to the car wash groceries all wet had to throw sugar flower and most of wet boxs of pasta thrown away I owned a high country which was a good truck thought I would upgrade to a Denali ultimate it was truly a downgrade

Problems with vehicle

I've taken my GMC to two different dealerships and they still haven't solved the problems. When I hook up my trailer, I keep getting a 'check trailer wiring' message.

GMC customer service is abysmal

They forgot to change my oil (I found out halfway into my trip out of state for Thanksgiving. So family missed Thanksgiving) three times I asked the to fix where my rv plugs in.

Last time they had to order the part.

I've now missed 5 days of work between that not fixed and them not doing my oil change. Would never buy again.

I purchased a GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax in the summer of 2015 new off the lot from Ebersole GMC in Lebanon Pennsylvania

Mostly I am happy with the decision however I have had a few issues with it along the way

One of the issues was regarding fuel delivery and I had to have my mechanic replace the Bosch CP4 fuel pump

Apparently there was a recall and GMC allocated funds to reimburse owners who paid to address the issue

I would like to submit my invoice from that replacement from my mechanic and see if I qualify for compensation

Hi Gmc my name is Jacqueline Zarraga I am writing to you today to complain about the truck I purchased at Walker Jones in Waycross Ga. I purchased a 2020 GMC Sierra and on May 7 it caught on fire .

I dont know what to do but I think some one has to be held accountable because some one could have gotten hurt.

I am having anxiety just thinking my children could have been in the vehicle I am really thinking about getting an attorney I think the least I deserve is a Truck that is inspected as it should. I am sad i have worked so hard for my truck for it just to go up in flames I have cried my self to sleep because of what happened.

I was driving and the truck just shut off, almost wrecked. My mechanic said the PCM fried, GMC discontinued making replacement parts.

Now I have a 30,000 dollar piece of metal. WTF!!!

This is the 3rd time this vehicle I bought last November from the GM dealer in Bahrain has drained its battery and wont start (we resort to contacting the tow truck road assist to get it started). The mileage on it is only 20,000 and its only been serviced by the dealer.

The issue is very upsetting and whats really annoying is it takes time to get it fixed.

I have never experienced this ever in my life. The dealer doesnt seem to know what to do about this problem which definitely involves a parasite but cant be found.

GMC 2500 Denali

I purchased a new GMC 2500HD Denali in 2022, expecting a top-of-the-line vehicle given its premium price tag and reputation. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment.

First and foremost, the reliability of this truck has been abysmal.

Shortly after purchase, I experienced multiple breakdowns, leaving me stranded on the side of the road. The frustration of owning a brand-new vehicle that cannot be relied upon is indescribable.

The first major issue was a transmission leak that took well over a month to repair. However, the repair was not done correctly, and they failed to refill the transmission fluid. Once again, I had to turn to a local shop to fix what should have been a straightforward repair.

This is simply unacceptable for any vehicle, let alone one marketed as a robust and reliable truck.

One of the most alarming issues has been the tailgate. It opens by itself while driving, which is not only incredibly unsafe but also makes it impossible to tow anything securely. Imagine driving down the road and suddenly seeing the tailgate open, potentially losing cargo or creating a dangerous situation for other drivers.

When I took the vehicle in for a recall to fix this issue, the service department disabled the tailgate entirely and said they would contact me when the part was available. Months later, despite numerous attempts to follow up, I have yet to hear back from them.

This lack of communication and inability to resolve such a critical issue is incredibly frustrating.

Additionally, the truck has numerous electronic gremlins and the drivers door leaks, adding to the litany of problems. The vehicle has been in the shop multiple times for these and other repairs, each time with long wait times and no clear resolution. I've had to resort to using an independent shop to fix issues that should have been handled by the dealership.

Overall, the GMC 2500HD Denali has been a huge disappointment.

The reliability, safety issues, and poor service have left me regretting my purchase. I expected much more from a premium vehicle and would advise others to think twice before investing in this truck.
